Donor Rights
Out of respect for the donors who so graciously support WSEM, we are committed to following the Donor Bill of Rights, the widely-accepted  national standard of fundraising ethics and principles created and adopted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the American Association of Fundraising Counsel and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.    
 
Donor Privacy
WSEM does not share or sell donor information to any other nonprofit or for-profit entity.  Donor information may be passed on to organizations that help WSEM with mailings with the understanding that the information is only for WSEM's use and should not be duplicated for any other purpose.         
 
Fundraising Opt-Out
WSEM may contact you during its fundraising efforts.  You may request to opt-out of receiving fundraising information by sending your name, address and a written statement of your request to the WSEM Vice President of Advancement - West Side Ecumenical Ministry - 5209 Detroit Avenue - Cleveland, Ohio  44102.    
 
Our Approach to Security 
The financial information that you provide to WSEM's online giving page is protected by a digital security certificate supplied by Entrust, a national encryption software provider dedicated to providing secure data transfer to nonprofit, government and for-profit organizations.
